About Me

Mark Blay Bsc Hons, AATQB, MAAT

Hi I'm Mark and owner of Decimal Point Accountancy which offers bookkeeping, accountancy and tax return services.

I graduated from Aston University with a 2:1 in Managerial and Administrative Studies in 2006 having mastered in marketing and finance in my final year.



Once graduated I decided to pursue a career in marketing working in a number of large blue chip companies such as, Sara Lee, Heinz, Schwarzkopf and Britivc on brands like Radox, Aunt Bessie's, Heinz Sauces and Fruit Shoot.



After 10 years I decided on a career change and wanted to follow my other passion which was numbers and finance. I studied for my AAT qualification and after 18 months passed levels 2-4 to become a qualified bookkeeper and accountant and a Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (MAAT).



Whilst studying I also worked in a local accountancy firm where I was able to put my studies into practice working with a number of different types of clients. I now work in management accounting as a full time role. However, in my spare time I like to share my knowledge by helping people grow their businesses. My services include
